Location: 27 Henderson St, Turrella NSW 2205. Size: 2 ha. Client: Bayside Council. The site is surrounded by light industrial commercial buildings and adjacent to Wolli Creek and Turrella Station. Flooding is one of the key issues in this area. Meanwhile, as part of the Bardwell valley creek and Wolli creek Green Corridor, Bayside Council prefer to improve the connections, protect, or enhance the environment, conserve culture and heritage and provide facilities for leisure and recreation. Turrella Station North has an opportunity to create a vibrant recreational community for surrounding and future residents. At the same time, this riparian area has opportunities to mitigate the flooding and future sea-level rise.
