The Bays will be revitalized to provide various housing choices including affordable housing to accommodates Sydney's growing population in the future (NSWDIE, 2021). The Bay will transform into higher-density neighbourhoods, alongside an increasing number of families to live in more compact neighbourhoods. Randolph (2006) pointed that "Contemporary strategic planning has almost become child-blind, with the new higher-density centres being built essentially for the childless in mind". When designing high-density communities, communities, issues that are important to families must be addressed such as how children can growth without fear in high-density urban life. This project focus on transforming the Glebe Island into a more safe and inclusive community and providing multi-interactive experiential play to invite younger generation back to the public open space in the bays. The creation of inclusive urban spaces for the public contributes to understanding cultural diversity thereby promoting the personal development of residents including children.
