With the urban development and construction of buildings and roads, the green space and habitat of fauna and flora in the urban area are gradually decreasing, which leads to a series of environmental problems, and it is important to increase the construction of green infrastructure in the city to address the issues caused by urban sprawl. This project uses green infrastructure to provide solutions to environmental issues in the WhiteBay Power Station. The green infrastructure will be used as a method of stormwater management to address flooding in the area and to protect the local heritage; to reuse stormwater to enhance social engagement; to create habitat for flora and fauna, and to form a sustainable system to achieve local sustainable development and human well-being.
